African Horse Sickness Treatment

How are the products used:

Eco-Lungs is specifically useful intreating AHS, asthmatic cough, pneumonia, pleurisy, breathlessness, and tracheitis.

Eco-Lungs is also used for the treatment of acute and chronic lung disease, particularly in athletic and geriatric animals.

Eco-Heart is used primarily as a heart tonic and in situations where improved cardiac function is required. It protects the heart during exercise such as endurance events, horse racing and show jumping.

Eco-Heart is useful to remedy the effects of ageing, exhaustion, and physical fatigue.

Eco-Heal is Eco-Vet’s flagship product and is considered indispensable for the treatment of almost all little irritating problems in the daily lives of animals.

Eco-Heal is a remedy for first-aid treatments in animals. This product also has a successful track record in helping racehorses recover.

Dosage & Administration

In a 20ml syringe, draw up 5ml each of Eco-Heart, Eco-Heal & Eco-Lungs with 5ml of water – then administer orally to horses spiking a fever.

Repeat 3-4 times daily for at least 1 FULL week.

Improvement should normally be seen within 2-3 days depending on the severity of the case.

In more SEVERE cases, especially in horses showing depression, appetite loss, heavy breathing, and reluctance to move, the dosage during the first phase can be increased to a dose every hour for up to 6hours.

If their condition does not deteriorate, the dose can be reduced to every two hours and then every three hours, and then the usual intervals (three times daily) – continue for another week.

If there is further deterioration, continue dosing every hour, along with aspirin.

Any horse responding positively to the hourly doses, can be maintained on diminishing doses for a further 10 days.
